I would say the car is sold as seen. If the stickers are taken off after youve bought the car, then you should be compensated for the further damage caused, if the stickers are removed prior to the sale then unfortunately their arguement will be 'sold as seen'.

That is gutting about the scratches, they're added a grand plus to the bill for a whole bottom half respray, if you spend hours prepping it, totally out of order. Haven't they heard of a hot air gun?

That's the only way co part will learn. If you don't make a claim back then they will just carry on doing it. That's ridiculous extra damage. Even stevie wonder could do a better job.

Considering how many people, and potential customers, watch this channel then Copart needs to offer some visible recompense/goodwill towards the damaged paint.

Bought a 2019 Peugeot Expert from Copart Kent last week. Someone there had removed the sign writing with a scraper, causing so much unnecessary paint dammage on all panels, was so hacked off with them, was terrible, spoilt perfectly good paint work 🤬 Very much doubt Copart will give a dam. I follow a few channels similar to this one. The amount of damage, extra damage, that’s pointed out on those channels is shocking. Within last week a Corsa which looked a tidy piece of repairable salvage had substantial roof damage on collection. Clearly acquired whilst in co parts care. Another thing worth noting is that the companies selling salvage through co part must be losing out financially. The Corsa was returned. The damage to this Fiat is just mindless. It’s been bastardised basically. I think approaching co part in such a manner as you plan is an excellent idea and others with same experience should do the same. 👍🏻

Don’t forget, dealer visit to have the BSG (Belt Starter Generator) re-enabled. It’s disabled after a crash event, hence all the lights on the dash when starting. P1947-68 code will be present.

New tyres should always go on the rear, on both 2 and 4 wheel drive cars. This is for immediate and long term protection from lift off oversteer.

Rob, if replacing only two NEW tyres they SHOULD be fitted to the REAR, as for the airbag I would leave it if it’s not showing a fault in the system.
